Excellent value for your money - you might pay 3-4 times as much and not get as nice a knife! The handle fits my hand nicely, the knife is well-balanced, the blade is sharp, full tang and machined very well, and it just looks great! I have to look hard to find just several minor flaws which in no way detract from the knife overall.

I will agree the sheath is not quite up to the standard set by this knife but it is entirely adequate and at this price I'll not complain! I would buy this again and I'll be on the lookout for more Elk Ridge knives.

I am really happy with my new knife. I wondered if the unique design of the wood handle would require an adjustment to handle on my part. Nope.

The Sheath could use (In my opinion) a thicker leather and double stitching. No problems so far.
