I bought this stand for home use.. 1st mistake.. the base is just way to big to be practical at home.
The stand is sturdy, well built and stable.
The directions are a joke.. Actually, i'm not sure if you can call pictures directions. There are bags and bags of screws and bolts with no labeling on any off them.. The one page pictorgram that is suppose to be instructions shows pictures of screws with letters ( nowhere on the actual screws) but does not give a step by step way to proceed..
That being said, we were able to figure out the assembly.
It is sturdy, but you will need a very large area to move it around.

This is an outstanding product. I am very impressed by both the design and the quality of construction. As others mentioned, the assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out (more on that later).

Yes, the base is large. It has to be maintain stability while supporting a 60" plasma screen. That being said, it will fit through a 30" doorway. Although the height is adjustable, it is designed to stay at the height you select. At its highest settings, it will not fit through a standard 80" tall doorway with the TV mounted, so plan accordingly when you assemble it.

Most people would not use this stand at home. It's probably a little overwhelming and takes up up too much space for that. However, it is perfect for businesses, churches, and schools.

The assembly instructions consist of a two-page mechanical drawing, with almost no written instructions at all. Included in the pacakged are a huge assortment of screws and spacers. There is no explanation, but they give you screw sizes and spacers, if necessary, to fit seemingly any TV you want to mount to it. I only needed four screws. The rest were simply extras. All the tools you need for assembly are also included.

Assembly was pretty straight-forward until it came to the crossbars that attach to the TV. The instructions are unclear, but the crossbars attach to the TV first. Be sure to center them before tightening the screws down.

Measure the distance between the top and bottom mounting holes on the back of the TV. Use that measurement to determine which set of keyhole slots on the top upright brackets mounted to the top of the cart will attach to the top crossbar.

Measure the distance from the top mounting holes to the top of the TV. Measure that distance up from the set of keyhole slots you will use to determine the total height of the entire assembly after the TV is attached. Use that measurement to determine how high you will adjust the poles. They must be adjusted BEFORE you mount the TV.

Screw the fastening screws into the top crossbar first - but not all the way. Lift the TV and insert the fastening screws into the desired pair of keyhole slots in the upright brackets. Place washers over the bottom mounting screws and insert them through the slots in the bottom half of the upright bracket and into the screw holes on the back of the TV. Tighten all four screws down.

You can use the two included wrenches to adjust the tilt, although you'd be better off with a socket wrench and a crescent or box-end wrench.

If the time comes that we need another portable flat-screen TV, this is definitely the cart I will purchase.

This is a really well built product, but it lacks any instructions on how to mount the actual TV and setup the racks that hold the TV. This is incredibly frustrating for what appears to be a well build product.

Sucks.

This stand is easy to assemble, extremely sturdy, and even more stable than I expected. The cable routing inside the posts is very limited; unless your equipment lines up at the right spot you'll probably have to run cables outside of them. My only other complaint is that the wheels were very poorly greased and noisy but some spray lubricant helped tremendously.

My husband and I are happy with the mobile stand it was exactly what we needed. It is sturdy and well built. As stated in other reviews, there are no directions to put this together, and this would have been helpful. The only issue we have is the width, our back door is 32" which is customary. The stand is 29". You have to have the door wide open, which for many is difficult (I have a piece of furniture in the door swing clearance area). Also, we have a raised threshhold due to the brick and the wheels are not parallel (can't be for stability). This makes it difficult to roll in and out of the house since it tips slightly after one wheel clears the threshold. You have to lift it to get it through the door. Once the TV is installed on the stand, it can only roll sideways through the doorway. This isn't a complaint, just a fact that I thought others should consider if you are thinking of taking it in and out easily. My husband can do it by himself but I can't.

This cart was packed very well with an large assortment of screws, which confused me since the directions were not good at all. I did not realize that the base was so large and would stick out. It could have been made smaller and still be strong enough to hold lightweight TV. I wanted my TV to be close to the wall, but it is sitting out as far as it did while on a night stand. Also, the horizontal brackets stick out about 2 inches on each side on my 32" Sony. I now wish I had bought a 37". The shelf sticks out about 4 inches too far and moves. It reminds me more of the Soloflex exercise machine I bought years ago than a TV stand for my bedroom. I saw nicer ones on the web, but they were either high priced or did not look strong enough. I mainly bought it because I did not like the shiny dust collecting base on my TV. The good part is that it is easier to dust now, but I feel that I have wasted almost $300!

I got the black one but the video assembles the silver one. A lot of similarities between the 2 so the video is still helpful.
