This Is Aftermarket Replacement Item But Not Genuine This is a replacement fuel pump for Polaris Ranger XP. This pump is more reliable than the stock one that commonly fails under normal loads. Polaris requires you to purchase a new fuel tank to replace the fuel pump. This runs over $480 to get another tiny, not so good pump. Our pump installs just like your stock one. No wiring or modifications are needed. Install time is 20-30 minutes. This is also the pump we recommend for turbo and modified engines. This pump flows about 35% more than the stock one does, so if you are making some serious power here is the answer to keep up with your fuel needs. Polaris calls for 39psi +-3psi. This means that if your pressure is not 36-42 psi you have a fuel pump issue. This is very common on these vehicles. Typically when the fuel pump fails it creates a problem with 25+ mph acceleration. Usually popping and sputtering. When checking your fuel pressure be sure to rev your engine and put it under a load, if you can safely. Just because it makes pressure at idle doesn't mean it will make pressure when revved or under a load. The fuel pump is the number one issue we see with with the Polaris RZR. 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 500 600 700 800.
