I play a lot of softball; both competitively and in rec leagues. Out of the box these cleats were extremely comfortable and provided great traction/support on the diamond. I'm surprised at how comfortable they have been from the first time I laced them up. I've only worn them for one game, and that's all I needed to be sold on this product. Didn't take any time to break them in at all. I am a size 9.5 and they fit true to the size. They shipped on time. These were very satisfying purchase. My whole team wants some now!

I got these shoes when I joined the baseball team, and everybody seemed to like it as much as I did. I didn't get the chance to wear them for play even once, so to be fair I'll only review its aesthetics and build. Right out of the box I tried them on, "Comfy!", and they fit very well. The supplied image didn't do the real shoe a favor, because the shiny, metallic blue looked SPECTACULAR. The shoes felt that it's well made, the soles were well-glued and they really looked they were made to last. Sadly, I left the baseball team for another hobby of mine (and returned the item back to Amazon, which was a smooth process too), but I recommend these pair above any other to anyone who wishes to not spend too much on cleats and still desire a good buy.

I didn't know what to expect from these at this price point. Mizuno is a well-respected brand, but I thought these can't be that good for that price, right? Happy to say that my suspicions were wrong. These are light yet still feel well-constructed and fit very well.

I recommend sizing down one half size from your normal athletic shoe size. I am consistently a 12 in Nike and Puma (brands I choose because I have a narrow foot and they both run snug- I don't wear Adidas or Reebok, haven't tried Under Armour) so I ordered both the 11.5 and 12 in this cleat. The 11.5 was perfect. Didn't even try on the 12. These may run a little on the narrow side which suits me fine. Even so, I still have to lace them up tightly so there's definitely room for a normal/slightly wide foot.

The molded cleats will work well for recreational softball and infield play. You might want a more traditional/metal cleat for serious outfield/grass baseball use.

Four stars because I like the fit, style and function but the fifth star is always about long-term quality and durability. Can't say for sure yet. I have high hopes. I did switch out the red laces on the red/black colorway. That was a little loud. They look better with black laces.

I bought these size 8 M for my 10 year old who usually wears a size 9.5 in a women's Nike. They fit her perfectly. She has always worn Mizuno to play baseball after we made one bad purchase with a different brand. She says they fit good and she can run bases well in them. After each baseball season her cleats are still in good shape just a little dirtier, but they clean up so easy that they can be made to look like new again. I highly recommend this brand if your child has ever worn out another brand before the season was over.

I could see how it would bother you if you played all day. But for a single and double header softball leagues I play in, they do great for the money.
