I own several pairs of these. They are one of two kinds of chef pants I rotate between (the other being a very comfy yoga style chef pant). Love all the pockets. The velcro sometimes catches other things, as velcro tends to do, but I like having the ability to close them tight.

I am 5'6" and they are a little long, so I roll the cuffs. I bought large and medium. The large become fairly loose by the end of the day, and then I need to adjust the drawstring or roll the waistband so they don't slide down. The medium fit fine at the waist, but are a little too tight for my comfort in the thighs and rear end, especially in a hot kitchen.

They wash and wear very well. I have had one of these pairs for well over a year and it's been washed at least once per week in that time. They do collect pet hair, but I feel all chef's pants do that, so I just make sure to put them away before my cat has time to sit on the clean pile of laundry, as cats like to do.

I’m disappointed in these. Originally ordered an XL after going off the size chart. I’m normally a 16-18 but I’m a thick 16-18 so when the XL didn’t fit I figured I should’ve just sized up.
So i reordered the pants in a 2x. Just put them on and although they fit, they don’t “fit.” I’m not sure what body type they have in mind but these pants are not for women with a large butt. There simply isn’t any room in the seat of the pants. It’s like as soon as you pull these on, the crack of the pants are immediately in your crack. The pants are ridiculously long and the legs are wide. Just smh. Sorry for language but I’m infuriated. Waited a while for two pair of pants that don’t work. I will be getting a refund for both of these pair and I hope Mercer has a better design for plus size pants options. Or maybe even a woman’s pant.

Seemed super reasonable and just what I'm looking for. But I'm a pear. A truly bottom heavy pear. I prefer mid-rise, also hard to find, because I have a crazy sensitive abdominal scar. I was incredibly excited to get these. I thought I was going to burst every seam when I sat down. Walking around, they felt great. So disappointed.

I'm a 5' 6" woman. I got a medium and they fit - i probably could have gotten a small but there's a drawstring so they're fine. They are a little long but it's not a deal breaker. They wash well and don't wrinkle. They are a thin material so should be comfortable when it's hot but don't offer protection from hot equipment. The pockets are great.

I didn't exactly know how to describe wearing these pants but I found this review that explains it perfectly.

"The pants are too tight in the thigh and butt, so much so that one will immediately feel like a sausage about to burst through its casing. There is no give in the hips, butt, or thigh area. If you've got a bit of a jiggle in your hip, butt, or thigh, these are really not meant for you."

BTW I got these in a large. At the same time though, the pants are baggy and long! I tried to hem them and that worked well. But I tried to taper them and they're still baggy. I wore them to work once and they kept falling down. I should have just returned them from the beginning. I would suggest buying something else. Very disappointing.
