Keep your feet comfortable all day in a rugged, ready to wear work boot that’s always ready to go. The Workhog is a wide, round toe work boot is a working man’s do-it-all dream. With ATS Max technology for maximum torsional stability and reduction of foot fatigue, this boot promotes healthy body alignment when being worn. The sole pairs a lightweight, cushioning EVA midsole with Ariat’s highly abrasion-resistant oil and slip resisting Duratread outsole for the ultimate combination of comfort and durability. Ariat’s unique , patent-pending U-Turn Entry System ensures easy entry and a true fit, regardless of foot shape. The premium, full-grain leather features a contrasting, western inspired design that adds some character to your boots. The Workhog also features a Goodyear welt for added durability and self-cleaning and non-tracking tread design that prevents the accumulation of dirt.

I bought these for work, after reading many, many reviews and boy oh boy am I glad I did! Okay - ordering the correct size footwear from the internet is tricky at best. I tried on Ariat boots (different style) at a local store, ordered a 1/2 size smaller than that and still ended up with these boots being a little loose. So I did what any guy would do - threw in a pair of insoles and wore them anyway! These things look so good and are so comfortable I did not want to send them back for the "perfect" size, and with the insoles they fit correctly now anyway. Now for the boots;
they look so nice I don't want to wear them to work and muddy/scratch them up!
VERY sturdy materials and build
INCREDIBLY comfortable. I am on my feet often for more than 10 hours at a time and my feet don't "breathe a sigh of relief" when I take these off. As a matter of fact, I can wear these all day at work and still want to put them back on to go out at night!
EXCELLENT traction on any surface I have encountered so far
I totally agree with the reviewer that said he wore these at work, took them home, cleaned them up, and wore them out or to church. Bottom line is - these are the best boots I have ever purchased!

I reordered these boots from before and they are advertised with composite toes. First pair showed up right away but were NOT composite toe. So I returned them and that was very easy and reordered another pair again and sure enough they showed up WITHOUT the composite toe AGAIN. They are nice boots and I really like them but I need composite toe.

The other pair was slightly darker leather, the leather felt different, and it was made in China. The China pair was slightly longer and wider. The "U turn" on the inside was also a different color. Both of these were purchased at the same time. Compared to the Redwing Pecos 1105 in the same size, the Ariats are approximately 1/2" shorter and a bit narrower. They will definitely need some break-in time as they are quite stiff. They look nice and the price was right. We will see how they hold-up, Bangladesh vs China.
