A few months with this shoe and the outsole is separating from the shoe at the toe. Looking through the reviews this seems to be a recurring problem. Not cool. Otherwise this has been a fantastic shoe... but now the separating front catches on the floor every now and then and makes me stumble.

Says Made in the USA pretty much everywhere in the advertisements including the pictures on the tongue of the shoe but when you get it you find out that it was made in China with U.S. material. We'll find out how well it holds up over time so far it's a little small through the top of the foot other than that it looks pretty good but I rather have the made in the USA model like the exact same pair I had bought 15 years ago.

I bought these very expensive shoes for my husband because he had a pair he has worn for work for the past ten years that he loved but obviously were wearing out. He needs "airport friendly" shoes because he goes through a scanner for work every day and does not want to take his shoes off to go through. The old shoes worked fine. He had trouble getting through with the new shoes so didn't wear them much. Eventually he figured out that only one entry beeped at them so he started wearing them a bit more and using the non-sensitive entry points. But today he showed me that the sole is already separating from the shoe. Definitely not the same quality as the old shoes and definitely not worth more than $35 much less the almost $300 I paid for them.
