I think the look is so much better than the all weather deep grooved floor mats - after all, this is not a pickup truck. I'm sold on this brand and style. So far it is good and I haven't seen any defects, but I wanted to point out something. If you want me to compare with husky products then; Husky has deeper depth; Husky has no empty portion on rear carpet (husky 1 pc, 3d MAXpider 2 pcs); I had hard time fitting 3D MAXpider into front passenger and driver side (hole location mismatch by little); 3d Logo is punctured to the carpet, which in the future could cause leak. But, I like the material 3d MAX and cheap looking appearance that matches my car (Just kidding..) But, I think it could be cheaper somewhere around $90~110 price range. These are really nice -- I just got a new 2016, Q5 and needed weather resistant type mats rather than the traditional ones that came with the car. I was slightly put off because they were not as heavy-duty as the ones I had for my BMW. I am happily surprised that that they fit perfectly and despite not being as heavy as my previous ones - they are exactly what I wanted. Rather than the chucky look, they look like they belong with the car-kind of elegant. The reason for the 4-star rather than the 5-star is - the one down fall is, the mats don't have a lot of texture. So once they are wet from snow and other weather conditions, the water rests on top of the mat making it slightly slippery and the water/mud stays on top of the mat rather than settling between the texture as with other heavy-duty mats. Gosh forbid you have something on the floorboard, it will get wet and muddy too.

Was looking at WeatherTech but went with these as I have owned WeatherTechs in the past and they are a bit hard and slippery in wet weather. These fit perfectly but they are more soft and pliable than the WTs and the “hairy” back on these things while odd really does lock these in place. I think the fact that these are softer makes them feel less slippery than WTs but I will have to check back in in six months or so to report on if the softness makes them less durable. When I bought these it saved me about $120 over WTs so I think it was worth a try

I purchased these mats to replace the OE rubber accessory mats on a 2011 Audi Q5, the mats fit excellent, I'd say they have better coverage that OE rubber accessory mats, priced better, better product, the 2 features I like are the texture, I've used weather tech molded mats and they are very similar to theses but weathertech's are super slippery when wet, no texture, these 3D mats are textured and provide good non slip traction for you feet, they don't seem to squeek against my shoes either, 2nd feature I like is the kick pedal is covered so water runs back on to the mat (not under), some other mats don't cover the kick pedal (left rest pedal for the driver) at all, one flaw but to me was not a big deal, the buttons securing the mat to the factory main carpet were incorrectly spaced (3D mats buttons too far apart compared to OE spacing), not a big deal just had to squish the 2 3D mat buttons closer together (causing a slight bow in the mat initially), I don't think the bow is there any more, holes I may have stretched slight, either way, I does not bother me at all.

Fit perfectly in my 2016 Audi Q5, the material was exactly what I was looking for, it has a bit of texture and not too rubbery but very durable and waterproof. We will see how they do in the winter in Saskatchewan, Canada, but so far I really like them. If you are looking for the traditional rubber mat that basically is a bucket for sloppy goop from your shoes, these might not be what you are looking for.
