Serves the purpose. I started teaching kids about oceans and continents first. We also play "I spy" game with these maps.

    Serious about your geography? This is the right map for you then. I love that more features than you could ever learn are featured on this map. All those little seas, islands... not the microscopic ones... but anything worth knowing is on this map. I hate maps that just give you a general outline and don't cover some of the smaller details. If you're wanting a map this size, you seriously want all that stuff on there!! This has the most information on a map that I've seen. I partnered it with the Collins World Atlas paperback edition and I couldn't be happier. I'm still learning... I'm ready for that Brit who acosts Americans on the street and asks them geography questions trying to make us out to be more ignorant than the rest of the world. I am so so ready... or I'm going to be!!!

    This was for my bulletin board at school where I am chairman of the ESOL. This was to be used to mark the places where my students were born. I was quite disappointed that it was folded and not rolled. The creases will wear more quickly and, even new it didn't look as nice as I had hoped.
